1. Who we are

Build My Personal AI (personalai.thestrategicfriction.com) is operated by Strategic Friction ("we", "us"). By using this website or buying the product, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. What you're buying

Build My Personal AI is a one-time digital purchase ($29). You answer six questions about yourself, and we turn your answers into a written "Personal AI Profile" — text you copy into your own ChatGPT or Claude account. It is not a subscription, and we do not provide access to any AI service itself.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, and tax are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.

3. Refunds and returns

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied with your purchase, you can request a full refund within 30 days of your order date.

Refunds are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. To request a refund, visit paddle.net or email us at Info@thestrategicfriction.com and we'll help. Paddle's handling of refunds is described in Paddle's Refund Policy.

4. Using the service fairly

You agree not to misuse the service. That means no:

• Unlawful use, fraud, or spam
• Copying or reselling the service or its content
• Interfering with the service (malware, probing, scraping)
• Using the AI features to generate illegal content, deepfakes, hate speech, or malware, or to bypass AI safety systems
• Infringing anyone else's intellectual property

We may suspend or refuse access for material breaches, non-payment, or security or fraud risk.

5. Your answers and AI output

You are responsible for what you type or dictate, and for how you use the profile we generate. Please don't include passwords, account numbers, medical records, or other people's private information in your answers. Only share content you have the right to share.

The profile is generated with the help of an AI service and may be inaccurate or incomplete. It is general guidance — not professional, medical, legal, or financial advice. Please review it before relying on it.

6. Intellectual property

We own the service, its design, and its written content. Your profile text is generated from your own words and is yours to keep and use personally. You may not resell the service or republish it as your own product.

7. Availability and warranties

We work hard to keep the service available, but we can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" without implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Limits on liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages (including lost profits, data, or goodwill). Our total liability is capped at the amount you paid for the product. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, where the law does not allow it.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA.
