Who is Strategic Friction?
Strategic Friction is my one-person business. I’m Samantha Johnson, and I’ve spent my career helping people and organizations turn complicated change into something they can actually use.
I created Strategic Friction because AI is moving quickly, but too many useful tools still feel built for people who already understand the language and setup. That leaves capable people thinking AI isn’t for them—or settling for generic results.
Known by AI™ is one practical way to close that gap. My goal is to remove the friction, make AI more accessible, and help people get real value from it without having to become AI experts.
What exactly do I get?
You'll get a personalized AI profile and setup instructions based on your answers. If you use both ChatGPT and Claude, the same profile can work across both, with setup guidance for each.
Can I use Known by AI™ for my business?
Yes. If you use ChatGPT or Claude for your business, your profile can help the AI support your work more effectively. The purchase may also qualify as a business expense depending on your circumstances. You’ll receive a receipt for your records; check with your tax adviser if you’re unsure.
Is Known by AI another AI assistant?
No. It's not a chatbot, an AI model, or a course. It's a guided setup that improves the ChatGPT or Claude you already use.
Do I need any technical skills?
No. If you can answer a few questions about yourself and paste text, you can do this. Every step has numbered instructions and tells you what you should see on screen.
How long does it take?
About 10 minutes. Instead of spending hours reading documentation, watching setup videos, or figuring out AI personalization by trial and error, Known by AI walks you through the basics and gets you set up quickly.
Does this work with ChatGPT and Claude?
Yes. Your profile works with both, and the setup guide covers each one separately — including the free versions, on your phone and on a Mac or computer.
What about other AI tools?
Your profile can also work with other AI tools such as Gemini and Grok. We have not added step-by-step setup instructions for those platforms yet, but the profile itself is still useful there.
Don't have ChatGPT or Claude yet?
That's okay. Known by AI will walk you through where to get the AI you choose and how to set it up. No AI or technical experience required.
Is a profile the same as a prompt?
No. A prompt is a one-off question. Your Known by AI Profile is a lasting setup that shapes every conversation, so your AI stops sounding generic.
What happens to my answers?
They're used to build your profile. We don't connect your answers or your generated profile to your name or email in our product database, and we never sell your information.
How long does my access last?
90 days from purchase. Build, test, and refine your profile as much as you like in that time. Your finished profile is yours to keep forever.
